We-me (jetzt-zeit system)

L'installazione WE-ME (JETZT-ZEIT SYSTEM) intende riflettere sul rapporto fra società e individuo e sul loro reciproco rispecchiamento nel nostro tempo.

Oggi, questo rispecchiamento sembra accadere sempre piu' nel qui e nell'ora, nel cosiddetto -real-time-; sempre meno vi e' separatezza tra le forme di comunicazione (le informazioni) e la collettività; sapere e', mai come ora, potere e azione.
Avere la capacità di rimodulare la narrazione della realtà secondo il proprio punto di vista e secondo i propri desideri significa, pertanto, riappriopriarsi di un tempo altro, il -tempo-ora- (-Jetzt-Zeit-), quello in cui il passato, carico di futuro, transita attraverso il presente cronologico rivoluzionandolo.

Ma non sempre il -tempo-ora- si puo' controllare: in qualunque momento puo' sorgere improvvisamente un -glitch-, un errore d'informazione; oppure, puo' sopravvenire inaspettato un evento esterno che transita attraverso il presente cronologico rivoluzionando il presente dell'individuo, cosi' come quello della collettività.

Grazie all'interazione del visitatore, che diventa -spett-attore-, con altri visitatori, con i suoi desideri e con l'esecuzione di un performer (che interpreta e modifica le sue azioni), l'installazione WE-ME (JETZT-ZEIT SYSTEM) intende riflettere le dinamiche individuo/società diventandone, nel contempo, il riflesso.

WE-ME (JETZT-ZEIT SYSTEM) installation aims to think about the relationship between individuality and society in their mutual reflection, in our time.

Today, this reflection is happening more and more in -real time- and there is no separation between the communication forms (information) and society: knowing is, more than ever, power and action. The capacity to re-modulate the narration of realty according to our point of view and to our desires means to re-appropriate the innovative punctuality of the time (the -Jetzt-Zeit-), that is the moment in which the past, full of a promise for the future, crosses the chronological present modifying it.

But everyday experience teaches us that we can't always control our time. In fact, in the ordinary real-time reality, a -glitch- can occur at any time: it could be an information glitch, or it be produced by an external cause. This glitch passes through the chronological present upsetting both the individual present and the collective one.

Thanks to the collaboration between the visitor, who becomes an -actor-, with other visitors and with the performer (who interprets and disrupt their movements), the installation ME-WE / WE-ME (JETZT-ZEIT SYSTEM) aims to reflect on these dynamics becoming the reflection of them.
