Il Ponte Lucio Fontana The rediscovery of a masterpiece

The Auction House Il Ponte is proud to present an extremely rare masterpiece by Lucio Fontana, Ballerina, a large polychrome and enameled ceramic sculpture of extraordinary quality, realized in 1952. Il Ponte is pleased to announce that this important ceramic, which was donated directly by the artist to a Milanese private collector and kept in the owner’s home since then, will be included in the forthcoming sale of Modern and Contemporary Art on June 11.
