Gianluca Capozzi / Antonello Matarazzo – Human Perceptions

Verrà inaugurata dal Sindaco della Città di Caserta, Pio Del Gaudio e dall’Assessore alla Cultura, Felicita De Negri, la doppia personale di due dei più interessanti artisti italiani delle ultime generazioni, Gianluca Capozzi ed Antonello Matarazzo. Due artisti che usano differenti linguaggi dell’arte contemporanea per esplorare le percezioni dell’umano del terzo millennio. Una sintesi formale che attesta l’indipendenza del progetto artistico dalle differenti tecniche in uso nell’arte contemporanea privilegiando la ricerca nelle differenti relazioni istintuali dell’umano.
La mostra, infatti, mette a confronto due diversi modi di vedere le percezioni che gli umani del terzo millennio hanno sia attraverso una tecnica storica, quale la pittura è, sia attraverso il video che rappresenta l’ultima frontiera delle tecniche artistiche.
Come scrive il curatore della mostra, Massimo Sgroi: Gianluca Capozzi ed Antonello Matarazzo attraggono lo spettatore, attraverso un gioco di rimando, verso la simulazione del reale; nella loro opera non si sottraggono alla oscillazione del dualismo platonico del pensiero, anzi, giocano con il rapporto fra il reale ed il più del reale avendo compreso l’indistinguibilità fra i vari livelli della realtà percettiva. Come in Borges i due artisti italiani rappresentano i brandelli del territorio della mente sulla superficie della tela o attraverso il video come oggi accade, fra l’altro, con le parti della realtà vaganti in un immenso territorio virtuale.
