Astract:





Il Rebis è il Magico Doppio, l'Armonia che si ottiene, per Monica M. Seksich, con la ribellione e la trans/gressione continua tra l'antico e il moderno. Bowie e Velvet Underground, miscelati in un crogiuolo alchemico dove si incontrano gli dei dell'Olimpo e il post punk, i colori della terra e del sangue con il bianco e nero e l'alchemico oro.

Il vernissage ospiterà performance poetiche, e durante l'evento gli ospiti saranno coinvolti nella stesura di poesie kebab.

Il finissage ospiterà invece una performance della danzatrice Elisa Mucchi (Urbanica).

Astract:




In the esoteric tradition of the Rebis is a representation of the double, the two, made of Harmony. The Rebis (from res bina double thing) is a famous hermetic figure reported by various authors in the first place in his treatise on the nitrogen Basil Valentine (1659).

In the artistic life of Monica M. Seksich this difficult goal came with the questioning of all certainty, with the rebellion against all currents and waves, the trans / continuous progression between the ancient and the modern, sensual experimentation that crosses several arts, painting, poetry, theater. A bit of Bowie (Rebel Rebel is one of his favorite tracks) perfect example of the androgynous, a bit of Velvet Underground, alchemical mixed in a crucible where they meet the Olympian gods and rock, the Tarots and the reason , the Delphic Serpent and Lou Reed, earth colors and gold, metal alchemist par excellence, disturbing the red blood combined with black and white, which was a leitmotif of the post-punk.
