Sol One Pedullà Show è la personale di Gianni Pedullà, artista contemporaneo, nato a Thunder Bay (Canada). Nella mostra, a cura dell’Associazione Culturale Eventiamoarte , c’è una precisa scelta di mimetizzare le opere dello shopping colorato e cromato dei corpi truccati. Si tratta di dieci opere recenti dell’artista allestite in modo promiscuo in uno spazio dove dimora la bellezza. Nel suo lavoro artistico, Pedullà, usa supporti direttamente manipolati con materie povere, prelevate dal quotidiano, tele, legni, stoffe, carta. Figure dell’uomo e dell’animale costituiscono l’immaginario del suo viaggio creativo, che oscilla tra oggetti costruiti ad arte e icone al limite dello stereotipo.

Sol One Pedullà Show is the personal art exibition of Gianni Pedullà, contemporary artist, born in Thunder Bay (Canada). In the exibition, curated by the Associazione Culturale Eventiamoarte, there is a clear choice to camouflage the disquised bodies’ works of the coloured and chromed shopping. The exibition is made up of ten recent works of the artist, mounted promiscuously in a space where beauty dwells. In his art work, Pedullà, uses supports directly manipulated with poor material, taken from the ordinary such as canvas, wood, cloth and paper. Man’s and animal’s figures constitute the imaginary world of his creative journey, that swings among objects made artfully and icones made stereotypical.
