L’arte fine della pittura representazionale è di nuovo in risalto dopo un secolo di declino e l’Angel Academy of Art, accreditato dalla Regione Toscana, è considerato uno degli più importanti scuole di Europa e Nord America. L’accademia fondato su quarant’anni di ricerca del suo fondatore e direttore Michael John Angel, che ha studiato sotto Pietro Annigoni nella seconda parte degli anni 60, è dedicato all’insegnamento di pittori professionali realisti. It advocates un matrimonio tra l’arte concettuale – la visione artistica – e l’osservazione empirica. Situato in Firenze, Italia, il Angel Academy insegna i metodi tramandati attraverso i secoli, dal rinascimento al tardi diciannovesimo secolo, e sposa una varietà di espressioni dentro i concetti della pittura rappresentazionale. Tale pittura è sempre stato il mainstream dell’arte europeo.

The fine art of representational painting is on the rise again after a century of decline and the Angel Academy of Art, accredited by the Regione Toscana, is considered one of the most important schools in Europe and North America. Based on forty years of research by founder and Studio director Michael John Angel, who studied under Pietro Annigoni in the late 1960’s, the school is dedicated to the training of professional realist painters. It advocates a marriage between the conceptual – the artistic vision – and empirical observation. Situated in Florence, Italy, the Angel Academy teaches the methods passed down through the centuries, from the Renaissance to the late nineteenth century, and espouses a variety of expression within the concepts of representational painting. Such painting has always been the mainstream of European art. This will be the Academy’s 11th exhibition of works by students and instructors.
