VISIONI PER IL NOSTRO TEMPO
L’UMANO ABITARE
Lo spazio è il comune denominatore che ci unisce agli oggetti e lo spazio può rimanere invariato anche quando si capovolgono
i valori di scala. Sovvertire i valori della percezione visiva non è solo un raffinato esercizio intellettuale, ma impone spesso una
ri-valutazione dell’oggetto analizzato.
Stefania Lucchetta progetta e realizza soprattutto “oggetti da indossare”.
Il gioiello è tale perché, prima ancora del materiale, è composto dalla preziosità del progetto, motivo per cui l’opera di questa
artista tende a colpire con grande incisività.
Sarebbe opportuno, ai fini di una corretta lettura dell’opera, munirsi di lente di ingrandimento o riportare gli scatti fotografici di
questi gioielli su stampe di grande formato. La grande scala è sempre intimamente presente in queste opere di piccola
dimensione, il loro sapore dichiaratamente monumentale emergerebbe al primo sguardo.
Si tratta di architetture contemporanee. Spazi negati alla fruizione domestica eppure dedicati al vestire il corpo.
Per l’architettura fondamentale è la condivisione del tempo abitato.
Nell’unione tra tempo progettuale e volume umano, il tempo abitato è una condizione che si attua attraverso la sintonia di
spazio – intenzione – necessità.
Quindi se il passaggio del tempo si può misurare in stratificazioni geologiche, poiché il tempo altro non è che una
sedimentazione di eventi che evolvono prima in struttura e poi in architettura, allora le opere della Lucchetta sono fatte di spazio
abitato dal tempo degli umani che le indosseranno.

THE HUMAN WAY TO LIVING
Space is the common denominator that links us to the objects and space may remain unchanged even when we overturn the
scale values. Overturning values of visual perception is not only a refined intellectual exercise, but it often asserts an reevaluation
of the analyzed object.
Stefania Lucchetta designs and creates predominantly "wearable objects”.
The jewellery that results is striking because, even more than the material, it is the project’s value that makes the work of this
artist so powerful.
For a correct interpretation of the work, it would deserve to be viewed through a magnifying glass or indeed be admired in the
form of large-format photographs. Large scale is always present, in an intimate way, in these works of small dimension; the
artist’s decisive inclination, however, for the monumental albeit in small-scale strikes out on a first impression.
They deal with contemporary architecture: space denied domestic fruition but devoted to adorning the body. In architecture the
sharing of inhabited time is fundamental.
In the union between project, time and human volume, inhabited time is a condition that is created through the tuning of space –
intention - necessity.
Then if the passing of time can be measured in defined geological stratifications, since the other’s time is nothing but a
sedimentation of events that are evolving in structure first and second in architecture, then Lucchetta’s works are made of
space lived by the time created by humans that will wear her objects.
