Parte la nuova stagione espositiva della Galleria Marconi, domenica 24 Settembre, alle 18.00, si inaugura il primo appuntamento del Progetto “Nudi come vermi”, una serie di mostre che si protrarrà fino a Maggio 2007.

Lo scopo del progetto è creare un ponte ideale tra artisti affermati e giovani, lanciando uno sguardo anche alle arti fuori dai confini nazionali. Gli artisti si mostrano nudi nel loro percorso di ricerca, perché soltanto così possono risultare veri e riuscire a descrivere la propria inquietudine verso il mondo moderno, il disagio e il contatto continuo con le realtà più diverse. Solo essendo “Nudi come vermi” si può riuscire a vedere ed estrapolare il bello anche dalle più cupe realtà che ci circondano, così quello che normalmente è un modo di dire dispregiativo assume una nuova valenza estetica e diventa un nuovo canone di bellezza.

Il primo appuntamento è la personale di Pastorello, che la Galleria Marconi presenta in collaborazione con la Galleria White Project di Pescara, diretta da Mauro Bianchini. Il testo critico è a cura di Alberto Zanchetta.

Pastorello propone una pittura all’apparenza molto semplice, ma che presenta in realtà un’analisi approfondita, che nasce da una poetica complessa, un lavoro raffinato e minuzioso, che, guardando ai grandi maestri del passato, entra prepotentemente nella contemporaneità.

Osservando l’opera di Pastorello, non si può che restare stupefatti dalle molteplici direzioni in cui si esprime, dando voce a poetiche diverse, tutte riconducibili, però, al fine ultimo della pittura. Notiamo in questo modo che coesistono realismo ed astrattismo, che l’arte dei grandi maestri si incontra con il fumetto, i videogiochi, il pop, senza mai però decadere nel kitch. Un pittore puro che ripensa e reinventa continuamente il proprio lavoro.


The new season of expositions of Marconi Gallery is starting, on Sunday 24th September at 6 p.m., the first appointment of the Project “Naked as worms” is opening the event. It is a number of exhibitions that will go on till next May 2007.

The aim of the project is to make a virtual bridge between already known artists and young ones, giving a look to international arts too. The artists show themselves naked in their own research path, as only this way they can be genuine and be able to tell their own anxiety towards the present world, the difficulty and the continuous contact with the most different realities. Only being “Naked as worms” you can see and extract the beauty even from the gloomiest realities around us. This way what normally is a disparaging way of telling, takes a new aesthetic value and becomes a new beauty standard.

The first appointment is the exposition of Pastorello presented by Marconi Gallery in cooperation with White Project Gallery of Pescara. It is directed by Mauro Bianchini with the critic by Alberto Zanchetta.

Pastorello proposes a painting which is apparently very simple, but that, really, presents a very deep analysis which comes from a complex poetry, a refined and detailed work which, while looking back to the past masters, comes strongly into the topical reality.

Observing the work by Pastorello, you can’t avoid being astonished by the many ways he expresses himself with, creating different poetics, but all of them connected to the final aim of the painting. We can, this way, notice that realism and abstractionism coexist together, that the great art of the masters meets the comic strip, the video games and pop, without never being kitch. A pure painter who is continuously rethinking and reinventing his work.
