Domenica 30 Ottobre la Galleria Marconi presenta "SOSTANZA LABILE", personale che propone i lavori di Daniele Duranti, con il testo critico di Cristina Petrelli e l’intervista di Gloria Gradassi

SOSTANZA LABILE, secondo appuntamento stagionale della Galleria Marconi, segue Art in Cities (AL MURO – arte ricercata), mostra organizzata in collaborazione con la Gallerie De Meerse di Hoofddorp (Olanda), che ha riscontrato un grosso afflusso di visitatori, anche grazie alla divulgazione fatta da più di trenta siti nazionali ed internazionali. Art in Cities ha proposto un’importante testimonianza della Street Art (graffiti, posters, adesivi, stencil, ecc.) attraverso foto provenienti da tutto il mondo, portando l’attenzione sull’arte che nasce e cresce nelle città.

L’installazione di Daniele Duranti propone opere pittoriche che raffigurano fermi-immagine presi dalla televisione, lavori normalmente di piccolo formato in cui si evidenzia l’interessante contrasto tra una pittura ad olio eseguita con lentezza e con pennellate sottili e tirate, e la velocità d’uso e consumo dell’immagine televisiva.

Una pittura con al centro il rapporto uomo-macchina, con frame di automobili raffigurati sulla tela, e l’immagine televisiva che s’innalza a nuovo paesaggio, sottolineando come l’abitudine a guardare la televisione porti a non distinguere più questa dalla realtà. Il piccolo formato dei lavori permette inoltre di osservare attentamente ogni opera, apprezzandone anche i minimi particolari, come se ogni tela fosse un piccolo gioiello.

"L'immagine si presenta essenzialmente come opera pittorica. Acquisendo, infatti, l'immagine televisiva attraverso la pittura, trasforma quella che è la breve durata e la labile sostanza di questo tipo di visione in un'opera materica, tangibile, concreta. […]

Bisogna evidenziare come, nel lavoro di Daniele, l'opera diventi altro rispetto al soggetto, risolvendosi in superficie. Davanti ad una sua opera lo sguardo può perdersi fra i colori e l'andamento delle linee e si può smettere di cercare una qualsiasi possibile riconoscibilità. Questa non è importante. Tanto che si può affermare che alcuni suoi brani pittorici raggiungono esiti astratti. Quella di Daniele è pittura pura, con tutta la sua forza creativa e le sue infinite possibilità d'essere". Sunday 30th of October the Galleria Marconi presents "FLEETING SUBSTANCE", an exhibition introducing the works of Daniele Duranti, art critic by Cristina Petrelli, interview by Gloria Gradassi.

"FLEETING SUBSTANCE" is the second appointment of this season in the Galleria Marconi, it follows "Art in cities (AGAINST THE WALL - art wanted), an exhibition organized in collaboration with the Galleria de Meerse in Hoofddorp (Holland), which received many visitors, also thanks to the publicity on more than thirty national and international web sites. Art in cities bore an important testament to street art (graffiti, posters, stickers, stencil, etc.) by means of photographs from all over the world, paying attention to art born and raised in cities.

The installation of Daniele Duranti proposes pictorial works representing freeze frames caught from the television, shall size works usually, in which the interesting contrast between an oil painting, slowly executed by sharp and stretched strokes of the brush, and the normal speed of a television image is underlived.

A painting having the relationship between man and machine like its centre, with frames of cars on canvas and the tv image like a new landscape, underling how the habit of watching tv takes you to not distinguish anymore this one from reality. The small size of the works let you observe each work attentively, and appreciate the details, like if each canvas was a little jewel.

"The image basically looks like a pictorial work. As a matter of fact he acquires an image from the television by means of painting and transforms the short lenghth and the fleetingsubstance of this type of vision into material tangible and concrete work. [...]

It must be stressed how, in Daniele's work, the painting becomes something different from the subject while coming to the surface. You can loose your perspective between colours and lines in front of a work of his, so much that you can say that some of his works are abstract. Daniele's painting is pure painting with all its creative strenghth and its infinite possibilities of being". (Cristina Petrelli)
