Where Emotion Becomes Form
Presented by Art Queens Gallery as part of Women Beyond Borders in Times Square, Mona MO.leo’s solo exhibition Where Emotion Becomes Form received the Audience Choice Award, confirming the strong emotional connection her work established with the public.

Segnala l'evento
In Where Emotion Becomes Form, Mona MO.leo develops a pictorial language that moves between instinct and structure. Her works emerge through a physical and intuitive process in which fluid acrylics are blown and guided across wood and Plexiglas before being refined through conscious compositional decisions. Emotion is not illustrated, but shaped.
The exhibition reveals a continuous dialogue between chaos and clarity. Branching forms, layered textures, and symbolic geometries evoke organic growth while maintaining balance and control. This tension between spontaneity and intention defines the artist’s visual identity and invites the viewer into an immersive emotional experience.
The strong public response culminated in Mona MO.leo receiving the Audience Choice Award, voted by exhibition visitors in recognition of the emotional impact and lasting impression of her work.
Reflecting on the experience, the artist stated:
“Many thanks to everyone who supported me. I am proud and inspired — my art is now displayed in Times Square. This experience shows that dreams do come true and motivates me to keep reaching for more.”
Presented within Women Beyond Borders, the exhibition situates Mona MO.leo’s practice within a broader international discourse while affirming the maturity and clarity of her artistic voice.
