New York, August 2025 — Over 6 million global viewers tuned in via EarthCam as Times Square became the stage for Women Beyond Borders, an international exhibition curated by Art Queens Gallery. For 24 hours, six visionary women artists transformed the world’s most iconic square into an open-air gallery, redefining the boundaries of where art can exist and who it can reach.
The participating artists — Alexandra Telgmann, Annica Hallman, Katherine Ann Miller, Lisa Agic, Nanci France-Vaz, and Simona Ray — each brought her own voice, yet together they spoke as one, celebrating women’s voices in art.
The response from the artists themselves was nothing short of profound. One described it as an “epic exhibition” and “a dream come true.” Katherine reflected, “The vibrant energy of the city combined with the scale of the display made my art feel alive.” Annica emphasized the gallery’s unique role in reshaping history: “You are a gallery with a big heart! You see women’s art, lift them, publish them so the world can experience. I think you can change history!” For Alexandra, the experience was transformative: “Coming from traditional oil painting, it’s incredible to see my work also presented in the Metaverse showcase.”
“This exhibition was not just about displaying art — it was about rewriting visibility for women in the arts,” said Salma Eltoukhy, spokesperson for Art Queens Gallery. “The overwhelming global response proves that the world is ready for women’s voices to take center stage.”
This historic exhibition was made possible through the vision of six dedicated artists and the global audiences who shared in the moment. With Women Beyond Borders, Art Queens Gallery has proven that women’s art deserves to shine on the world stage — and that creativity truly knows no borders.
Adding to the event’s prestige, Art Herstory Magazine was present to cover the exhibition, capturing its highlights and amplifying its message of empowerment across international media.
