Esibizione di quattro artisti da Barcellona, che per una settimana saranno a confronto con le loro creazioni, con linguaggi a tratti diversi fra di loro ma accomunati da un un'unica passione che li porta definire una collezione fresca lineare e colorata di gioiello contemporaneo presentata per la prima volta al pubblico romano
Biografia della curatrice Irene Carrera
Trained in interior design at the School of Art and Design Tarrega Ondara, and Jewellery Artistic in EADT (School of Art and Design in Tarragona). She completed his training in Turin and later at the Foundation and Tari II of Naples, where she made a specialization course in decorative enamel jewelery, to continue at the School of Art and mestiere Vicenza with the Technical enamel.
1997 she opened her own jewelry workshop where she designs and sells her work through contemporary jewelery shops in different parts of the country.
2009 she started the project of creating the store workshop "Irene Carrera" specializing in jewelery, where she exposes her own creations and creations from other artists dedicated to contemporary jewelry. Among the features that define her work, she emphasizes the creativity and the originality that prints their collective .
1994 she assisted as a scholarship holder at the Design Seminar V "Diamonds Today" held in Seville, organized by the Diamond Information Center De Beers.
In 1996 she won the first prize in the "1st Contest FASHION DESIGN" held in San Sebastian organized by the Association of Jewellers, Silversmiths and Watchmakers Gipuzkoa,
1st Prize in the twelfth edition EuroBijoux & ACCESORIES European Union held in Menorca where she had also been selected to participate in the seventh edition of the announcement of the prize.
In 2014 in Barcelona she won the award in the category Designers Collective accessories and jewelry, international project organized by La Roca Village Co-operation with the Consortium of Trade, Crafts and Fashion (CCAM), curated by Georgina Chapman (founder of Marchesa) and by the renowned fashion critic Colin McDowell.
She participes in exhibitions and many times appears in the prominently sector press.
Currently she intends to refine its brand presence at trade fairs, exhibitions and fairs such as the Fashion Week in Barcelona under the 080 Barcelona Fashion. Mercado Central Barcelona, presentation of the shop Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Madrid the exhibition Filo Rosso Curated by Isabella Bembo with the participation of artists in Italian jewelers Circuits Bijoux, presentation and marketing of a series of jewelry inspired in the city of Barcelona and marketed at the Centre City Craft’s.
2015 Exhibition at the Gallery Doux Seoul (Korea) and start selling online.
Group exhibition 23 -29 may 2016 at the gallery myday-byday Roma.
